Cosy and contemporary, Les Colettines studio apartment is on the ground floor of a sixteenth century building, which was once part of a nunnery run by the order of St Claire of Assisi.
It is located amid the cobbled lanes of historic Sarlat-la-Canéda, the capital of the famed Perigord Noir region in the Dordorgne – about two and a half hours drive from Bordeaux.
The traditional stone building has been updated into two stylish, contemporary and comfortable apartments, Clos de l’Abbaye and Les Colettines, which can be rented separately or together. (The apartments sleep 4 + 2 guests.)
The best of Italian design enhances the 35 square meter (115 sq ft) interior of the studio, with designer furniture and quality fittings.
The kitchen has a vitro-ceramic hob and a traditional oven, a coffee maker, toaster, high quality stainless steel cooking equipment and quality crockery.
There is cable and satellite TV, a CD/DVD player and free Wifi.
The King size bed is a fold-out, and the bathroom features hand painted ceramic tiles and luxury details.
You will be delighted by the high quality fittings and attention to detail of this tastefully decorated and comfortable apartment.
To enhance your stay, we can offer optional extras such as breakfast; a chauffeur service from the train station or airport; flowers; newspapers and magazines; gourmet catering; an excellent chef to cook for your dinner party and concierge services to arrange your restaurant and tour bookings.
One of the most charming villages in the Dordogne, Sarlat la Canéda is a medieval town that has remained preserved and is one of the towns most representative of 14th century France. It grew up around a Benedictine abbey of Carolingian origin. The centre of the old town consists of impeccably restored stone buildings and is largely car-free.
Capital of the Dordogne’s Perigord Noir, Sarlat is renowned for its gourmet produce, in particular the famous black truffles, foie gras and artisanal cheeses.
Nearby you can explore the enchanting castles of Beynac, Fayrac, Castelnaud and La Roque-Gageac, the UNESCO World Heritage prehistoric caves at Lascaux and the towns and villages of the region.
